Public blames Corruption as the root of chaos in country |

According to RTI Research centre survey, majority of the Pakistani public is of the view that Corruption in political and economic activity is the root cause of the whole chaos in country. |

The survey has been conducted with a national representative sample of 98 adults. They were asked about the biggest problem of Pakistan that needs to be addressed urgently.
The research data has revealed that 53% are of the view that Corruption in both political and economic strata is causing serious harm to the country.
22% of the people say that weakening state of economic conditions in the country is biggest problem. In order to strengthen its position on foreign front, Pakistan needs to be economically independent.
16% say that energy and power crisis is the root cause of weakening economy and affecting political stature of Pakistan
7% opined that clashes and conflicts between government institutions is creating chaotic situation and hindering overall development in Pakistan.
2% could not decide from either of the options. |
